Hossler started coaching at Bethel in 1976. She helped lay the foundation of women's athletics during her coaching seasons. Overall, she coached volleyball for 14 years, softball for 9 years, and basketball for 5 years. 

• NCCAA District Coach of the Year (volleyball) - '81, '85
• Guided BC volleyball to their first national tournament - '79
• NCCAA National Runners-Up (volleyball) - '80
• NCCAA District Championship - '81 (first in school history)
• NCCAA District Championship (volleyball) - '89
• First coach to take a women's athletic team on a mission's trip (Brazil in '91)
