Bethel Athletics Hall of Fame
John Natali came to Bethel University in the fall of 2001 and in his 22+ years has left his mark on many student athletes in his years with the men's and women's tennis programs and serving the athletic department in countless areas.
John took over as Head Coach for the Bethel tennis teams in the fall of 2001, a role that he would hold for the next four years, followed by another 14 seasons serving as the Director of Tennis, while continuing to assist both teams. During the 2003, 2004 and 2005 seasons the men's team had an impressive 28-7 record in the Mid-Central Conference, including 3 MCC runner-up finishes and a conference tournament championship in 2005. With the women's program, Natali's best season came in 2005, when the Bethel ladies posted an 18-5 overall record, including a conference runner-up finish and an NCCAA National crown.
John has served the athletic department in the many roles of game management and currently as the Director of Compliance. But John's biggest contribution will always be that of a man who spent his days continually helping, praying, serving, loving and investing in the student athletes.
