Geandra Almeida, a 2014 Bethel graduate, competed in women's golf for the Pilots. Almeida was a two-time NAIA All-American, earning Honorable Mention status in 2013 and reaching Second Team in 2014—one of three Pilots to be named an NAIA All-American multiple times. Graduating with a 4.0 GPA, she was a two-time NAIA and two-time NCCAA Scholar Athlete.

Culminating a stellar career, Almeida was crowned the 2014 Crossroads League medalist and a two-time Crossroads League Player of the Year (2013-2014), as well as earning the recognition as the Crossroads League Female Athlete of the Year in 2014—the highest honor bestowed in the Crossroads League. Almeida recorded a career scoring average of 75.3 and was an eight-time tournament medalist, both ranking second in program history.

After transferring from Lee University (Tenn.) where she received two NAIA All-American nods, Almedia helped the Pilots win their first 16 regular season tournaments and 19 of 21 overall in her two years at Bethel, including Crossroads League Championships in 2013 and 2014. She helped lead the Pilots to two NAIA and two NCCAA National Championship appearances. The Pilots' overall record during the 21 events over her career was an astonishing 165-13 and the 11 team wins in 2012-13 led all women's golf programs across all collegiate levels.

Almeida took the reins of the women's golf program as head coach for two seasons in 2019 before moving back to Tennessee to serve as an Assistant Coach at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee in the fall of 2021.
