Student-Athlete Leadership Team (SALT)
The Bethel University Student-Athlete Leadership Team is a committee of student-athletes representing each team within the Bethel University Athletic Department. This committee acts as a voice to ensure the culture of the BU Athletic Department is consistent among all teams.Â

The Major Goals of SALTÂ are to:
- Provide effective communication between the Bethel University Athletic Department and the student-athletes body at large.Â
- Provide student-athletes with a voice in athletic department matters
- Serve as a liaison in other major areas such as communicating with other departments on campus.
Members meet once a month and the group is facilitated by the BU Athletic Administration.

Criteria for membership eligibility for the SALT:
- All members must be in good academic standing.
- Members must exemplify the mission of BU Athletics on and off the playing field.
- Members should be great communicators in order to act as a liaison between the Athletic Department and their specific teams.
- Members will be selected by the BU Athletic Administration based on nominations from each coaching staff.
