Bethel Athletics Hall of Fame
A first-ballot Al Beutler Athletic Hall of Famer, Peterson competed for four years for the women's track and field program from 2008-11. At the NAIA level, Peterson was a seven-time NAIA All-American, earning accolades in the shot put in 2009-10-11 in indoor and 2010-11 in outdoor, and 2009-10 in discus throw. She was also named a two-time NAIA Scholar Athlete.
At the NCCAA level, she helped the Pilots to their first four team national championships in women's program history (2010-11 Indoor, 2010-11 Outdoor), while being named a three-time Athlete of the Meet in the 2009-10-11 Outdoor Championships. She was an 18-time NCCAA All-American, earning individual championships in the 2008-09-10-11 indoor shot put, 2008-09-10-11 outdoor shot put, 2009-10-11 discus throw, and 2010 hammer throw. She was also named a four-time NCCAA Scholar Athlete.
In the Crossroads League, Peterson was a ten-time All-League standout, earning individual championships in the discus throw in 2008-09-10-11 and shot put in 2010-11, while guiding the Pilots to four straight Crossroads League Team Championships in 2008-09-10-11.
