TERRE HAUTE, Ind. --- The Bethel Pilots Women's Swim and Dive team defeated the Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineers 225-78 on the road on Saturday.
The 200-yard medley relay team of Dominique van Vuure, Makaylynn VanEerden, Mikaela Vanasdale, and Elizabeth Williams narrowly won the event by eight seconds, while Josefina Gonzalez won the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:23.08.
In the 200 IM, the Pilots took first through third, with Teagan Risher finishing first at 2:17.70, Maria Suarez de la Fuente second at 2:18.50 and Kayla Logeais at 2:22.53.
The 50-yard freestyle was won by Jaylyn Harrison, with Aixa Reccioni right behind her.
Ryleigh won the 3-meter dive and set a new school record with a score of 200.40.
Reccioni won the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:00.21, and Vanasdale took second at 1:04.76.
In total, the team won 11 of the many events at the meet in the team victory.

The Pilots host Anderson University (Ind.) at the Elkhart Aquatic Center on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 1 p.m.
