ELKHART, Ind.--The Bethel Pilots Women's Swim and Dive team (8-4) finished 138-67 against NCAA Division I Opponent Valparaiso University (3-7) at the Elkhart Aquatics Center Friday.

The Pilots took first place in ten out of the eleven events that they competed in.Â

Avery Woods,
Ella Sherwood,
Makalynn VanEerden, and Dominique van Vuure competed in the 400-yard Medley Relay, finishing first with a time of 4:06.29.
Josefina Gonzalez competed in the 1000 Yard Freestyle Event, finishing first with a time of 11:08.15.Â

Jaylynn Harrison won the 200 Yard Freestyle Event with a time of 1:58.59. She crushed the NAIA Qualifying Standard (1:52.26) with a margin of over 6 seconds.Â

The Pilots will compete next for the KCAC championship title from Thursday, Feb. 13 to Saturday, Feb. 15. The prelims will begin at 10:00 am with finals kicking off at 6:00 pm in the Hobart Aquatics Center in Hobart, Ind.
