ELKHART, Ind. --- The first home meet of the season was a successful one for the Bethel Pilots Women's Swim and Dive team, winning two of the three matchups on Saturday.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS
The 200 medley relay team of Aixa Recchioni, Makalynn VanEerden, Jaylyn Harrison, and Dominique Van Vuure won the event with a time of 1:50.71. Van Vuure won the 200 freestyle by 2.34 seconds after posting a time of 1:56.91 in her first collegiate victory as a Pilot.
Recchioni had success individually in the 100 freestyle, taking second place by a small margin of .10 seconds and Teagan Risher won the 200 breaststroke by .05 seconds to secure her first victory of her collegiate career.

The Pilots head to West Lafayette, Ind., to compete in a meet at Purdue University's France A. Cordova Recreational Sports Center on Saturday, Oct. 21 at noon.
