MARION, Ind. --- After the final day of the Crossroads League Championship at Indiana Wesleyan Univerisity, the Pilots saw six top-10 finishes and a runner-up finish in the Women's 4x100 Relay. The Pilots placed ninth as a team.
The 4x100 Relay team of Sydney Rodgers, Brianna Hooton, Nicanta Smith, and Grace Constable was the runner-up with a 49.15 behind the Marian Knights, who broke the Crossroads League record with a 47.10. Vladlena Klymova, Hooton, Luisana Alonso, and Gabrielle Zeilenga finished sixth in the 4x400 with a time of 4:06.26. Klymova also finished eighth in the 400-hurdles at 1:06.58. Hooton placed seventh in the 200-meter at 25.82.
In the Steeplechase, Emma Maxwell placed seventh with a time of 13:06.95, and Hannah Frump placed 12th in the 800-meter with a 2:25.67. Anna Enderle finished 11th in the 5,000 meters with a time of 19:09.99 to round out the running event highlights. Sarah Brown finished eighth in the Javelin with a 31.79-meter throw.
In the final three events of the Heptathlon, Camden Chellis took eitghth in the Long Jump, fifth in the Javelin, and eighth in the 800-meter with a final score of 2403 for seventh, and Haylie Skripac placed eight overall, after finishing sixth in the Long Jump, sixth in the Javelin, and seventh in the 800-meter.
The Pilots take on the NCCAA Outdoor National Championship May 7-9 at Columbia International University, before heading back to Indiana Wesleyan for the NAIA Outdoor National Championship May 22-24.
