COLUMBIA, S.C. --- The first day of the NCCAA Women's Outdoor National Championship at Columbia International University began with Haylie Skripac and Camden Chellis competing in the first four events of the Heptathlon.
Skripac holds eighth place by running a 17.67 in the 100-hurdles, clearing 1.20 meters in the High Jump, throwing a 5.67 meters in the Shot Put, and running a 28.87 in the 200-meter. Camden Chellis is in 10th after running a 24.02 in the 100-hurdles, clearing 1.26 meters in the High Jump, throwing a 7.49 meters in the Shot Put, and running a 29.30 in the 200-meter.
The Heptathlon concludes on Thursday, May 8. The long jump starts at 9:15 a.m., followed by the Javelin at 10:20 a.m. and the 800-meter at 11:30 a.m. (all times approximate). Day two will also showcase the Discus, High Jump, Long Jump, 100-hurdles, 100-meter, and 200-meter prelims, 4x800 Relay, and 10,000 meters.
