FORT WAYNE, Ind. ---The Bethel Men's Track and Field Team competed in the Warrior Invite on Friday and Saturday at the Doug Edgar Indoor Track Facility. The event was hosted by WHAC Member Indiana Tech.
Christopher Korthuis showcased standout performances in Friday's Indoor Heptathlon, taking first in the 60 Meters (7.1s), second in the Long Jump (6.66m), and fifth in the 1000 Meters (3:01.98) to score an overall mark of 4443 (fifth place overall).
Jack Jewett also competed in the Heptathlon, claiming second place in the High Jump Event (1.86m) while hitting the NCCAA Qualifying Mark (1.80m). The Freshman also placed fourth in the 60 Meters (7.29s), sixth in the Long Jump (6.23m), and eighth in the 1000 Meters (3:12.87) for an overall mark of 4313 (seventh place overall).
Joshua Harmon posted a 6.96s time in the 60 Meter Prelims, narrowly missing the NAIA B Standard (6.80s), while tying for sixth place.
The Pilots will next compete at the Bob Eubanks Open, hosted by Grand Valley State University, on Sat, Jan. 17.
