FORT WAYNE, Ind. ---The Bethel Women's Track and Field Team competed in the Warrior Invite on Friday and Saturday at the Doug Edgar Indoor Track Facility. The event was hosted by WHAC Member Indiana Tech. 

Gabrielle Zeilenga claimed first place in the Women's Long Jump (5.47m), narrowly defeating Huntington's Brooklyn Simmons (5.42m). Zeilenga's Saturday performance crushed the NCCAA Qualifying Standard (4.82m). 

On Friday, Brooke Edison finished third for the Indoor Pentathlon Women's High Jump with a mark of 1.48m. Edison also hit the NCCAA Qualifying Standard (1.45m) in her inaugural year as a Pilot. 

The Pilots will next compete at the Bob Eubanks Open, hosted by Grand Valley State University, on Sat, Jan. 17.
