UPLAND, Ind. --- The Bethel Pilots Women's Track and Field team saw a great meet with multiple event wins for the Pilots with multiple NCCAA qualifications, one NAIA B mark, and an NAIA A mark on Saturday.
The 4x100 relay of Brianna Hooton, Riley Hershberger, Kilynn Guiler, and Rylin Bagarus took second place with a 48.65 under Taylor's team that won the event at 47.60.
In the 4x400 relay, Hershberger, Bagarus, Hooton, and Gabrielle Zeilenga won the event by .26 with a 4:05.73 in a tight race with Mount Vernon Nazarene.
Bagarus won the 100-meter hurdles at 14.78 and the 400-meter hurdles at 1:06.15, both NCCAA qualifying marks. Cailyn Helmuth took third at 15.70.
Hooton took a top 10 finish in the 400 meters with a 1:02.16 time in sixth place, and Hershberger won the 100-meter dash at 12.38.
In the field events, Sarah Brown took fifth with a 31.41-meter mark, and Cailyn Helmuth took sixth with a 31.25-meter mark. Both marks are good for an NCCAA qualifying mark.
Ariel Manns and Maiah Shelton took second and third, respectively, both with a 1.55-meter mark, and qualified for the NCCAA National Championship.
Gabrielle Zeilenga won the Long Jump at 5.62 meters and landed just shy of the NAIA 'B' mark of 5.68. She also won the Pole Vault with a 3.85 meters and met the NAIA 'A' standard to qualify for the NAIA National Championship and the NCCAA National Championship. To add to her accolades, Zeilenga won the Triple Jump at 10.88 meters, which is shy of the NAIA mark but good for the NCCAA Championship.
Alecia Parker won the Shot Put at 13.40 meters over IU-Kokomo's Sydney Duncan, who threw a 13.32.
