COLUMBUS, Ga. --- The Bethel Pilots Women's Swim and Dive team finished 10th of 36 teams at the NAIA National Championship at the Columbus Aquatic Center that concluded on Saturday.
Jaylyn Harrison took seventh in the 200 freestyle with a school record 1:53.29 and an All-American finish for the Pilots. She also took ninth in the 100 free at 52.33. Dominique van Vuure tacked on a 14th-place 1:56.20 in the 200 free.
Teagan Risher placed 15th in the 100 breast on Friday with a 1:06.75, and she finished 10th in the 200 breaststroke at 2:23.44. Aixa Recchioni took 16th in the 100 fly with a time of 59.49.
The 400 Medley Relay team of Harrison, Risher, Recchioni, and van Vuure took 10th at 3:58.76.
Josefina Gonzalez placed in the top 10 in the 1650 freestyle and earned All-American status with her eighth-place time of 17:51.52.
The 400 freestyle relay team of Recchioni, van Vuure, Gonzalez, and Harrison placed 10th at 3:33.20.

The Pilots are done for the 2023-24 season and will return to action in the fall of 2024.
