INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- The Bethel Pilots Women's Track and Field team took fifth of ten teams at the Crossroads League Championship held at the Indiana State Fairgrounds on Friday and Saturday.
Riley Hershberger was the champion in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.71 and the 200-meter at 25.17 in impressive performances.
Rylin Bagarus took third in the 60-meter hurdles to earn All-Crossroads League status with a time of 8.92.
Gabrielle Zeilenga took runner-up in the Pole Vault with a 3.67-meter mark, and Sophia Sumer tied Zeilenga with the same mark. Grace Conway took third with a 3.57-meter mark, and Sumer and Zeilenga earned All-Crossroads League honors.
Zeilenga also took second in the Long Jump with a 5.79-meter jump and earned All-Crossroads League honors.
Alecia Parker is among those named All-Crossroads League with a third-place finish in the Shot Put with a 13.09-meter throw.
NEXT TIME OUT
The Pilots await the official announcements from the NAIA on who will compete in the NAIA Indoor National Championship in Brookings, SD, hosted by South Dakota State University from Thursday, Feb. 29, to Saturday, Mar. 2.
