ALLENDALE, Mich. --- The Bethel Pilots Women's Track and Field team saw one NAIA and 11 NCCAA qualifiers at Saturday's Mike Lint Alumni meet at Grand Valley State University.
Riley Hershberger won the 60-meter dash with an NCCAA qualifying time of 7.81. Three Pilots hit NCCAA qualifying times in the 60-meter hurdles, with Rylin Bagarus at 9.18, Cailyn Helmuth at 9.54, and Vladlena Klymova at 10.07.
Ariel Mann hit the NCCAA mark at 1.50m in the high jump, and Grace Conway followed with a 3.61m NAIA 'A' mark in the Pole Vault, with Gabriella Zailenga hitting an NCCAA mark of 3.46m, which was .01 shy of the NAIA 'B' mark.
Helmuth qualified for the NCCAA Shot Put event with a throw of 12.07m, and Alecia Parker and Markalah Barnes threw 13.15m and 12.85m, respectively. Barnes also qualified in the Weight Throw at 12.81m, with Alayna Simpson joining her at 13.24m.
