MISHAWAKA, Ind. – Bethel women's soccer closed out non-conference play in style, as Pauline Vinciguerra scored twice to beat Madonna 2-0 on Wednesday at Morey Field.

Both teams played to a scoreless first half, with Isabella Ferreira making two saves at one end and Grace McCormick turning away chances from Kayden Firsdon and Sophia Neihart at the other. Bethel broke through early in the second half, as Vinciguerra opened the scoring in the 49th minute for her first career goal. She struck again in the 67th minute, finishing off a Hannah Thomas assist to make it 2-0. Ferreira closed out the shutout with three total saves, and the Pilots wrapped up non-conference play with a 13-7 shot advantage.
