MISHAWAKA, Ind.---Last Monday, Senior Forward
Jazmyn Smith of the Bethel Women's Basketball Program represented Bethel on the National Christian College Athletic Association's Student-Athlete of the Week Listing. The last Pilot to receive this award was Jessica Erwin on February 22, 2021.
The award was presented to Smith for her performances against Grace College and Indiana Wesleyan last week. Against the Grace Lancers, Smith was the leading scorer for the Bethel Pilots with 26 points and 14 rebounds. Her efforts led Bethel to a 97-95 win to improve the program's winning streak to three over Grace.
In Bethel's matchup against Indiana Wesleyan on Saturday, Smith once again led the Pilots with 14 points scored, while she added two steals. Prior to facing the Wildcats,

Hannah Ruddle on Senior Day for their contributions to the program.
While reflecting on the award, Smith shared, "I am extremely grateful for not only being recognized as the NCCAA WBB Player of the Week, but to even have the opportunity to play the game of basketball. None of this would be possible without my amazing teammates and coaches!"
The Bethel Athletic Department congratulates
