ELKHART, Ind. — The NAIA Swimming & Diving National Championships are returning to northern Indiana.
Bethel University has partnered with the Elkhart Community Foundation and the Elkhart County Convention & Visitors Bureau to host the annual event for the second consecutive year.
The event will take place from March 4 to 7 at Beacon's Elkhart Health & Aquatics, welcoming the nation's top athletes from over 20 collegiate programs.
"Bethel University is honored to partner with the Community Foundation of Elkhart County and the Elkhart County Convention & Visitors Bureau to host this national championship for the second straight year," shared Bethel President Dr. Dee McDonald. "Together, we're delivering a world-class experience rooted in excellence, collaboration, and community to make this a premier event for athletes, fans, and the place we're proud to call home."
The Bethel Athletic Department continues its tradition of hosting national athletic contests, most recently serving as the host for the 2025 First and Second Rounds of the NAIA Men's Soccer National Tournament. The department strives to put Jesus Christ at the center of its endeavors and to create the most positive student-athlete experience for each Bethel Pilot and each visiting athlete.
Jon Hunsberger, Executive Director of the Elkhart County Convention & Visitors Bureau, said, "We are so pleased to welcome back the NAIA Swimming and Diving Championships for another great meet in downtown Elkhart. The city's many entrepreneurs, from downtown shops and restaurants to hoteliers along the Cassopolis Street corridor and at the Hotel Elkhart, are excited to host these student-athletes, their coaches, and their fans. This event provides a tangible economic boost to the Elkhart area and adds to the city's reputation as a place for youth sports events."
