SOUTH BEND, Ind.--The Bethel Esports Team defeated the New England Tech Tigers 2-0 in Super Smash Bros. on Monday, Feb. 3. 

This win showcases the strength of Bethel's team, as the Tigers previously placed third at the 2023 ECAC Super Smash Bros Campus Invitational.

Blake645 led the team in KO's, totaling 12. He also led the team in total fights won (2).

Gus led the team in stocks lost, only losing one stock in the second match, and zero in the first. 

GAME ONE

In the first matchup, Blake645, Eco, and Sage of Fire each competed in two fights, with Gus competing in one. The team totaled 12 KO's and lost nine stocks altogether. The team won four out of the seven fights that they competed in. 

GAME TWO

In the second matchup, the Pilots won four out of the six fights they competed in. JWolf racked up four KO's and one win. Blake645 totaled seven KO's and three stocks lost. 

Overall, the Pilots totaled 24 KO's, eight wins, and 16 stocks lost. 

NEXT TIME OUT

The Pilots will face Cleary University on Friday, Feb. 7 for a WHAC League of Legends matchup. Streaming on Twitch will begin at 7:00 pm.
