MISHAWAKA, Ind. — The Bethel Pilots Rocket League team secured impressive victories in their recent matches, defeating the Defiance Yellow Jackets 3-1 and sweeping the Cornerstone Golden Eagles 3-0.

In the match against Defiance, Goose led the team with five goals and five saves, taking 18 shots. Ba.ng contributed with two goals, 12 shots, and four saves. The Pilots started strong, winning game one 3-1, with Goose scoring twice and assisting once, while ba.ng added a goal and a save. Game two saw Goose clinch the game-winner in a shutout, supported by three saves, and ba.ng added another save. Despite a 2-1 loss in game three, the Pilots bounced back to win the fourth game and the match 3-1, with goals from Goose, ba.ng, and Koontzie.

The Pilots continued their dominance against Cornerstone, sweeping the Golden Eagles 3-0. Game one ended in a 2-1 victory with goals from Goose and Koontzie, and Goose making two saves. Game two was a commanding 5-0 win, featuring two goals from Goose and a hat-trick from ba.ng. The final game was an overtime thriller, with the Pilots sealing the match 4-3, thanks to three goals from Goose and one from ba.ng.

The Pilots will face the Concordia Cardinals in their play-in game for the WHAC Tournament on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 6 p.m.
