UPLAND, Ind. --- The Women's Track and Field team placed fifth at the Crossroads League Championship and added one more individual champion on the final day of the meet.
Alecia Parker joined Sophia Sumer as Crossroads League Champion after throwing a 13.11-meter mark in the Shot Put. Sydney Rice placed eighth in the event with a 12.01-meter mark to score.
The 4x400 Relay team of Brianna Hooton, Luisana Alonso, Gabrielle Zeilenga, and Vladlena Klymova finished third with a 4:06.30.
Nicanta Smith took third in the 200-meter with a 26.12 and sixth in the 60-meter final with a 7.91.
Brianna Hooton placed fourth in the 400-meter with a 59.26, and Klymova placed sixth in the 60-hurdle final with a 9.50.
Ariel Manns tied for eighth in the high jump with a 1.50-meter mark and scored, while Hannah Frump took seventh in the 1,000-meter with a 3:06.62.
The Pilots prepare for the NAIA National Championship in Gainsville, Fla., at the Alachua County Sports and Events Center at Celebration Pointe Feb. 27-Mar. 1.
