HOBART, Ind. --- The Bethel Pilots sit in third with 170 points, behind the Aquinas Saints in second with 177 points, and the Olivet Nazarene Tigers in first with 225 points after day one of the KCAC Championship at the Hobart Aquatic Center on Friday.
Nick Bohm is the KCAC Champion in the 3-meter Dive with a 265.60 above five Aquinas Divers and fellow teammate Owen Fleck who took third in his own respects with a 234.50.
Manel Casado was the other KCAC Champion in the 500-meter Freestyle with a 4:42.48 above teammate Zach Anguish who was the runner-up in the event at 4:43.61 to take the first two spots for the Pilots.
Vincenzo Di Palo broke the school record in the 200 IM with a 1:54.78 and took fourth below Ethan Holwerda of Olivet Nazarene by a slim margin.
Andrew Williams placed fifth in the 50-freestyle with a 21.29 to round out the Pilots day one performance.
Day two of the KCAC Championship starts at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 15 with the first Men's event being the 200-yard Medley Relay.
