ELKHART, Ind.--- The Bethel Pilots (0-1) fell to the Olivet Nazarene University Tigers (1-0) on Saturday afternoon at the Elkhart Health and Aquatics Center. 

The Pilots won four out of the 13 events against the Tigers. 

Freshman Jorge Souto Vilas won the 50 Free (22.12) in his first outing as a Bethel Pilot.

Senior Zach Anguish won the 500 Free (4:54.46).

All-American Senior Owen Fleck won the 1m Board with a score of 229.65.

Sophomore Omar Khatter won the 200 Back (2:09.94).   

Head Coach Chadd Maurer, who received his first win with the Bethel Swim and Dive Program, shared, "There were many other great swims throughout the meet with many of men and women posting times either at, or faster than, their previous times from this point last season which is a great way to start out...We will continue to grow and get stronger and faster!"

The Pilots will next face Ohio Northern University at 1:00 PM on Saturday, Oct. 18th.
