MISHAWKA, Ind. — The Bethel Pilots ESPORTS Rocket League team opened their inaugural season in the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) with two challenging matches, finishing 0-2. The Pilots faced off against Aquinas and Siena Heights, showcasing their skills but ultimately falling short.
In their first match against Aquinas, the Pilots put up a strong fight, winning the first two games before losing the next three in a nail-biting series that ended in a 3-2 loss. Goose led the charge for Bethel, scoring an impressive eight goals, making nine saves, and taking 17 shots. Teammate ba.ng contributed significantly with four goals, two assists, and six saves on 11 shots.
However, the Pilots struggled in their second match against Siena Heights, where they were swept in three consecutive games. Goose again stood out, scoring three goals, providing one assist, and making seven saves on 11 shots.
