MISHAWAKA, Ind. --- Bethel University Esports goes 4-4 in last week's competitions.
Super Smash Bros. fell 2-0 to Delaware in the first round of ECAC playoffs and beat Mount Vernon Nazarene 2-0 and St. Francis 2-0 in GLEC.
Super Smash Bros. JV won 2-0 by forfeit over Five Towns College in the first round of the ECAC playoffs.
Director of Esports Dan Wort said, "While we were eliminated from ECAC playoffs, we got wins over Mount Vernon and St. Francis this week to finish the GLEC regular season at 10-2 and should lock up the #3 seed headed into next month's playoffs."
Valorant fell 2-0 to Catawba College in ECAC playoffs.
Dan Wort said, "We couldn't repeat the success from the fall season, and the team was eliminated in the first round of the ECAC playoffs, so the season has ended."
League of Legends dropped a game to William and Mary 2-0 in the NECC quarterfinals.
Wort said, "Lost in the first round of the NECC playoffs. Disappointing end to a tough season."
Dan Wort spoke on the Rocket League team, saying, "The Rocket League team is gearing up for a doubleheader against Valpo and Anderson next Saturday. With a strong finish, they aim to secure a top 4 seed for next month's GLEC tournament."
Overwatch defeated Defiance 3-0 in GLEC but lost 3-1 to Albion in GLEC.
Wort said, "Split matches this week in GLEC, falling to 8-2 in the conference with one week remaining. Depending on the outcome of the last match, we should lock up either the #4 or #5 seed for the tournament."
