MISHAWAKA, Ind. — The Bethel Pilots Rocket League team experienced a series of challenging matches, securing a hard-fought victory against the Concordia Cardinals but facing defeats against the Saint Xavier Cougars, Rochester Christian Warriors, and Lawrence Tech Blue Devils.

In a thrilling match against Concordia, Goose led the Pilots with an impressive 15 goals on 31 shots and 10 saves. Ba.ng contributed with seven saves and 11 shots. The Pilots lost the first game 3-2, bounced back to win the second game 3-2, dominated the third game 4-1, narrowly lost the fourth game 6-5, and clinched the match with a 3-2 victory in the fifth game.

The Pilots then faced a tough Saint Xavier team, suffering a 3-0 sweep. They lost the first game 5-1, the second game 3-2, and the third game 3-0, with ba.ng scoring twice and Goose once throughout the match.

Against Rochester Christian, the Pilots were again swept 3-0, with close losses of 4-3, 4-2, and 4-3. Goose ended the night with six goals and eight saves, while ba.ng added one goal and nine saves.

In their final match against Lawrence Tech, the Pilots fought valiantly but fell short in a 3-2 loss. They won the first game 3-2 and the second game 2-0, but lost the next three games 4-2, 4-1, and 4-1. Goose scored seven times on 17 shots and made 20 saves, while ba.ng contributed a goal, three assists, and eight saves.
