MISHAWAKA, Ind. – The Bethel Pilots ESports team showcased their skills in recent Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) matchups against the Lourdes Graywolves, Indiana Tech Warriors, and Cleary Cougars.
The Pilots started the week strong with a commanding 3-0 victory over the Lourdes Graywolves. Goose led the charge with five goals on eight shots and four saves. Teammates ba.ng and Koontzie each contributed a goal, securing wins in game one (3-2), game two (2-0), and game three (2-1).
However, the Pilots faced a tough challenge against the Indiana Tech Warriors, who swept Bethel in three games. The Warriors dominated with scores of 9-2 in game one, an 8-0 shutout in game two, and a 6-1 victory in game three.
In a closely contested series against the Cleary Cougars, the Pilots fell 3-2. Bethel took the first game 2-1 but lost the second game 2-0 and the third game 3-2. The Pilots bounced back with a 5-1 win in the fourth game but narrowly lost the decisive fifth game 4-3. Goose continued to shine with nine goals on 25 shots and 13 assists, while ba.ng added three goals, four assists, and four saves.
