Columbus, Ga. --- The Men's and Women's Swim and Dive teams finished their first day in the NAIA National Championship Wednesday in the Columbus Aquatic center. 

Nick Bohm claimed the first individual national title of the meet as he took top honors in the 3-meter dive. Bohm scored 286.50 in the finals to defend his national title and set a new school record again this season.

In the Women's 800-yard freestyle relay, the Pilots finished 7th with a time of 7:47.48 and set a new school record. 

Bethel took 11th in the Women's 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:49.04 and set a new school record.

BU finished 12th in the Men's 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:46.00.

The Pilots will continue to compete in the NAIA National Championship in Columbus, Ga. at the Columbus Aquatic Center on Mar. 1 – Mar. 4, with Days two, three, and four will begin at 9 a.m. The preliminary heats and the final heats will start at 5 p.m.
