Men's and Women's Swim and Dive finish runners up in KCAC Championship

Fremont, Neb. --- The Men's and Women's Swim and Dive teams finished runner-up at the KCAC Championship on Saturday. Head Coach Deb Thompson was awarded Coach of the Meet for Men's team, and Logan Berndt won the 100 freestyle.

On the Women's side, Jaylyn Harrison was honored as the female freshman of the Meet. Harrison took second place in the 50-yard freestyle, fifth in the 200-yard freestyle, and 2nd in the 100-yard freestyle in her individual events. She was a part of the 200-yard freestyle relay that took third place, 400-yard Medley Relay that took third, 200 yard Medley Relay that took third, the 800-yard Freestyle Relay that took second, and the 400-yard Freestyle relay that took second in the event.

The Pilots broke seven school records and hit 12 NAIA provisional times in conference competitions.

The Pilots compete in the NAIA National Championship in Columbus, Ga. at the Columbus Aquatic Center on Mar. 1 – Mar. 4, with day one starting at 5 p.m... Days two, three, and four will begin at 9 a.m. for the preliminary heats, and the final heats will start at 5 p.m.
