KENTWOOD, Mich. --- Wilford Crackel broke the school record for the 100 and 200 backstroke on Saturday at the Don Kimble Invite in Kentwood, Mich.
Crackel swam a 1:55.25 in the 200 backstroke and broke Jack Spicer's record of 1:59.82 set back on Feb. 2, 2023; he swam a 52.87 in the 100 backstroke, breaking Logan Berndt's previous record of 53.25 set back on Mar. 1, 2023.
Nick Bohm broke his school record by scoring a 458.70 in the preliminaries of the 3-meter dive and took 5th in the 1-meter dive, scoring a 403.20 in the prelims and 402.95 in the final. Owen Fleck qualified for the NAIA National Championship in the 1-meter dive with a 325.40.
Manel Casado took seventh in the 500 freestyle A-Final after swimming a 4:42.22.

The Pilots travel to Olivet, Mich., for a dual meet with the University of Olivet (Mich.) on Saturday, Jan. 13 at 1 p.m.
