MISHAWAKA, Ind. --- Valorant and Super Smash Bros. keep improving their records as they prep for upcoming playoffs.
Super Smash Bros. took down Bloomfield College 2-0 in ECAC as Sophomore Gus Pogue led the team with 10 stocks taken and a 4-1 record on the game.
Super Smash Bros. JV defeated Stockton University 2-0 in ECAC as Junior Parker Wilson led the team with 13 stocks taken and a 5-1 record.
Valorant beat Trine University 2-1 in ECAC. Sophomore Nate Kropiewnicki led the team with 73 kills and 12 assists.
Rocket League lost to Washington State 4-2 in ECAC but beat Illinois-Springfield 3-0 in NECC. Junior Gustavo Alvarez led the team with six goals and 13 saves in the match vs. Washington State. Freshman Jorge Rangle led the team with six goals, five assists, and three saves vs. University of Illinois-Springfield.
Rocke League JV lost to Pittsburgh-Johnstown 4-2 in ECAC. Junior Ian Hulett led the team with 10 goals, seven saves, and four assists.
League of Legends Lost to Ball State 2-0 in NECC.
Director of Esports Dan Wort said, "Smash and Valorant teams continue to play well in the ECAC conference, getting wins and preparing for playoffs in two weeks. Rocket League varsity earned a solid 3-0 victory over Illinois-Springfield but missed out on qualifying for NECC playoffs, as did League of Legends with their 2-0 defeat vs. Ball State."
