MATCH RECAP
Bethel controlled the run of play from the start, out-shooting Cornerstone 12-2 in the first half. The Pilots broke through in the 23rd minute, as Fernando Laserna finished off a corner kick sequence with a goal assisted by both Luca Canto and Diego Arrieta to make it 1-0. Bethel carried that lead into the half and continued to create chances after the break, with Tomas Franco hitting the post and Miguel Gallegos, Noe Ferreira and Julius Brown all testing Cornerstone keeper Luke Philo. Noa Sontag made one save to preserve the shutout, and the Pilots closed out the match with a commanding 20-5 shot advantage.
