MATCH RECAP
Bethel and Carroll played to a scoreless draw through the first half, with the Pilots out-shooting the Saints 5-1 but unable to find the breakthrough. Carroll struck first in the 60th minute on a goal from Felix Billard to take a 1-0 lead. The Pilots answered seven minutes later, as Stephen Nana Tuffour leveled the match at 1-1 in the 67th minute. Bethel took the lead for good in the 74th minute when Lucas Pigatto buried a Noe Ferreira assist — the first goal of Pigatto's Bethel career — to make it 2-1. That came shortly after Carroll's Felix Billard was sent off with a red card in the 73rd minute, leaving Carroll to play a man down the rest of the way. Noe Ferreira capped the scoring in the 84th minute, finishing off a Miguel Gallegos assist for his first goal of the season and Bethel's third of the half. The Pilots closed out the match with a commanding 21-4 shot advantage.
