RIO GRANDE, Ohio – Bethel men's soccer scored six unanswered goals to run past Cumberlands (KY) 6-0 on Saturday at Evan E. Davis Field, with Felipe Falivene leading the way with a two-goal performance.

Felipe Falivene opened the scoring in the 23rd minute to put Bethel ahead 1-0 at the half. The Pilots pulled away in the second half, scoring five times in a 31-minute span: Luca Canto struck in the 52nd minute, Diego Arrieta followed a minute later off a Canto assist, Sebastian Lopez made it 4-0 in the 60th minute on a Stephen Nana Tuffour assist, Falivene added his second in the 69th minute (assist: Miguel Gallegos), and Tomas Franco closed the scoring in the 83rd minute off a Roberto Pineda assist. Cumberlands played the final 35 minutes a man down after Nuemonie Blackwood was sent off in the 55th minute. Noa Sontag and the Bethel defense combined for the shutout, and the Pilots finished with a 20-10 shot advantage for the match.
