SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Bethel women's soccer scored twice in the final 25 minutes to beat Indiana South Bend 2-1 on Saturday at Newton Park, picking up the program's first win of the season.

MATCH RECAP

FIRST HALF

  • Both defenses held firm in a scoreless opening half, with Bethel getting looks from Hannah Thomas and Kayden Firsdon while Indiana South Bend's Olivia Enyeart tested Isabella Ferreira.
  • Isabella Ferreira and Mikayla Saunders combined for five saves in the half to keep the match level at 0-0 at the break.

SECOND HALF

  • Camdyn Bolton broke the deadlock in the 67th minute, scoring unassisted to put Bethel up 1-0.
