MISHAWAKA, IND. - The NAIA announced their Five Star Champions of Character institutions for 2025-26 with Bethel University earning Gold Star status. The Crossroads League also earned recognition as a Five Star Conference.

Institutions are evaluated on their demonstrated commitment to the Champions of Character initiave, earning points across five areas: character training, conduct in competition, academic focus, character recognition and character promotion. Points are awarded for strong student-athlete GPAs and for keeping ejections during competition to a minimum or avoiding them entirely over the course of the academic year.
