GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Bethel Pilots finished the third and final day of the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championship on Saturday at the Alachua County Sports & Events Center at Celebration Pointe.

James Gill and
Alecia Parker represented Bethel University in the second day of competition.
James Gill finished as an All-American, with a time of 21.93s in the 200m dash. The Freshman edged out Crossroads League Opponent Jan Busam of Huntington University (22.22) for a seventh place finish.
Alecia Parker represented the Women's Team in the shot put, with a distance of 12.78m. Parker placed 15th in a field of 19.
Assistant Coach Andre Moodie shared, "It was a great meet...as a coaching staff, we're very proud of them and we look forward to seeing what we can do come outdoors."
The Bethel Pilots will next compete in their first outdoor meet of the season on March 20-21 at the Polar Bear Classic. Indiana Wesleyan University will serve as the host at their Track & Field Complex, located in Marion, Ind.
