Box Score MISHAWAKA, Ind. ---The Bethel Pilots (11-2, 9-0) continued their historic conference run on Saturday afternoon, sweeping the Rochester Christian Warriors (0-13, 0-9) 3-0 (25-11, 25-13, 25-17) in the Goodman Gymnasium.
The game marks the Bethel's first and last conference meeting with the Warriors, with Rochester Christian competing in their inaugural season, and the Pilots transitioning to Crossroads League play next year.
With the win, the Pilots have officially defeated every conference opponent once this season, while claiming the past four matches without dropping a set.
Bethel controlled the match from the start, hitting .406 as a team while holding Rochester Christian to just .043. The Pilots finished with 37 kills on 69 swings and added 13 total blocks in the win.
Uros Miloradovic was one of the most efficient hitters on the floor, finishing with seven kills while hitting .545. Nikola Radicevic and Thomas Dunkley led the team with eight kills each. Radicevic also hit .545, while Dunkley added six digs and two service aces.
Jacob Massey contributed four kills on a .667 hitting percentage, and Christian Woumnga added two kills while hitting .500.
Setter McGwire Eigenrauch distributed 30 assists and added two service aces. Defensively, Bethel recorded 22 digs, led by Dunkley's six and Eduardo Kerkoski's five.
The Pilots were especially sharp in the opening set, hitting .500 to set the tone early. Bethel stayed in control throughout the second and third sets to complete the sweep.
Bethel will next face the Mount Vernon Nazarene Cougars (7-4, 4-3) on Saturday, March 14 in Ariel Arena. First serve is set for 2 PM.
