CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI. - Bethel Men's Bowling competed in the 55th Brunswick Midwest Collegiate Tier 1 tournament this weekend. The men were at Imperial Lanes in Clinton Township, MI. The competition included 45 Men's Varsity teams and 379 individuals in this 2-day tournament. Day 1 was the 5 team games, moving 10 lanes after each game that accounts for the individual portion of the competition. Day two consisted of 16 Baker games (4- four game blocks across the bowling center). After the two-day competition the Pilots finished 39th of 45 team.
"The guys had great energy all weekend. We struggled with some execution errors, and missed some simple makeables that put us in a hole early. Day two was a rollercoaster in Baker.," said Head Coach Chris Adams. "We are a very young team and were competing with the best teams in the country. Time to take the notes and put the work in for the rest of the season. "
