COLUMBUS, Ohio ---The Bethel Men's Bowling Team competed against 19 varsity teams, finishing 13th out of 20 on Thursday at The Bowling Palace. The third Ohio Bowling Conference Tournament was comprised of three team games followed by 12 Baker games, in which the men claimed ninth place.
Following the three team / individual games, the men were sitting at 15th place overall. They were paced by a 16th place finish for
Zachary Morrison, averaging 214.8 and finishing with a final score of 644. Morrison competed against 112 bowlers who scored, defeating athletes from both NAIA and NCAA teams.
Isaac Lleras (64th, 500) and
Steven Jones (69th, 493) were also top performers. Jones nearly matched his average posted in Bluffton at December's Crossroads League Tournament (164.7), with a 164.3 showing.

Chris Adams shared, "For the first tournament since being back, it was a slow start but showed consistency and teamwork in Baker against a tough field."
The Bethel Pilots will next compete at the third Crossroads League Bowling Event, hosted by Marian University on Saturday, Jan. 24 at 8:30 AM.
