MISHAWAKA, Ind. ---The No. 10 Bethel Pilots (3-1-1) hosted the Olivet Nazarene University Tigers (2-1-1) on Morey Field on Saturday afternoon alongside Alumni Day festivities.
In the opening half, the Tigers scored in the 25th minute of the match for a 1-0 lead.
Eduardo Pedroza tied the board in minute 38, assisted by
Julian Vargas Talamantes.
At the half, the Bethel University Men's Soccer Program allocated a few moments to honor the 2000 National Christian College Athletic Association Championship Team during Alumni Day.

Thiago Pinto wrote, "Players walking out with Coach Larry McClements and Pablo Rodriguez are team captain Javier Lopez who scored the final goal that sealed the Pilots win 3-1 over the Masters from California...Oscar Lopez, Ryan King, Rafa Perez, Chris Moses, Jorge Filizola,

In the second half of the matchup, Lucas Lima posted the winning goal, assisted by Jona Toussaint.
In the 85th minute of the game, Mathis Neuhaus had a crucial save that prevented the Tigers from scoring again.
Head Coach Thiago Pinto shared, "Important win. Moreover, the way we were able to stay composed through being down 1-0 was remarkable. Our team worked hard, smart, and had a relentless effort to earn the two goals."
The Ranked Pilots will hit the road on Wednesday, Sept. 10 to face the Holy Cross Saints at 7:30 PM on Saints Field.
