Box Score 2 FORT WAYNE, Ind.--The Bethel Pilots (5-3) swept the University of Northwestern Ohio Racers (1-3) before falling to the University of the Cumberlands Patriots (4-0) in three sets on Saturday evening.
Liberty Person hit two season highs for kills (twelve) and total points (13.5) in a single game against the Racers.Â
During game one,
Paige Franz also posted a season best for assists in a single game (five).Â
Franz shared, "This weekend our team faced adversity and a lot of challenging moments, but I am so proud of the way we bounced back, continued to grow together, and lift each other up. I think this weekend brought our team closer and made us stronger...which makes me really excited to see what we will be capable of doing this season."Â

Ainsley Tacke led Bethel's offense, totaling seven and nine kills respectively.Â
Head Coach Erica Dregits shared her reflections on the tournament, "Overall this weekend was a great opportunity for us to play some really good teams. It shows us where we thrive, and what our challenge areas are that need to improve going into conference play."Â
