OLD HICKORY, Tenn. --- The Music City Classic brought some of the best NAIA teams in the country to the Hermitage Golf Course on Monday and Tuesday, with 13 of the 17 teams in the NAIA Top 25 and the Pilots sitting at No. 29.
Aynslee Myer was the top Pilot finisher on the card at +9 (69-78-78) with a school record tying 69 in the first round, where she was in the hunt at -3 under par but had a double-bogey on the 13th hole in the second round, including a handful of bogeys in rounds two and three. Myer recovered at the start of the third round with a birdie on holes 12 and 14 to get back under par (-1) but had four bogeys in the front nine to end round three at +6 and the tournament at +9.
In round two, the Pilots were led by
Karisa Dyer in a career best 73 score and was under par for most of the day and ultimately finished +1, besting her career-low by six shots.
