RICHMOND, Ind. - Bethel Women's Golf fired a program-record 295 in the first round and never looked back, cruising to a 27-shot win over runner-up Grace at the IU East Fall Invitational.
Freshman Abby Dymott led the way in Round 1 with an even-par 72, followed by Izzy Aigner's 73, Ellie Webster's 74 and Karisa Dyer's 76. The 295 broke Bethel's previous single-round program record of 297, set in the fall of 2025. Bethel backed it up with a 304 in Round 2 for a 36-hole total of 599, breaking the program's 36-hole record of 602, which had stood since 2009. Webster's 1-under 71 paced the second round, with Aigner shooting 77 and Megan Bishop and Dymott each carding 78.
Webster's 71 was a collegiate personal best and earned her medalist honors for the first time in her college career. Aigner and Dymott both earned spots on the all-tournament team, finishing tied for fourth, while Bishop finished 12th overall.
"I've been very pleased with the way we've started this season. Each of these ladies is working extremely hard and it is paying off when it's time to compete! I'm so proud of the competitive fire they have as a group and very happy for Ellie to pick up her first collegiate victory. Izzy has been so steady for us this fall and Abby has been the spark that we needed. Megan and Karisa have come up for us big time as well and Macey is on the verge of something special as well!" "Friday was a very long day with a long rain delay, so the fact that we were able to overcome that adversity and still break two program scoring records is a testament to the character of this team. This is an amazing group of ladies who have established a culture that is very special... and we now turn our eyes to the Pretty Lake Intercollegiate next weekend."
