ALLENDALE, Mich. --- Lamarr Williams was the lone NAIA Qualifying Time at the GVSU Extra Weekend Meet on Saturday and rose in the 100-meter NAIA rankings amongst eight NCCAA Qualifying times and marks. Williams ran a 10.39 in the 100-meter and won the event, to become no. 7 in the NAIA.
Williams, Mark Brissau, Brennen Bargesser, and Josh Harmon ran a 41.85 in the 4x100 to take third. Harmon followed up with an 11th-place, NCCAA Qualifying performance in the 100-meter, with a 10.99. Marcus Smith finished ninth with a 10.94 and an NCCAA time.
Andrew Golba finished 19th for a top 20 performance in the 1500-meter with a 4:14.69 for the distance team. Three NCCAA Qualifying times came out of the 200-meter, with Bargesser taking ninth with a 21.97, Trevor Smith with a 22.35 for 13th, and Lucas Linder placing 13th with a 22.35.
To round out the field events, Joey Rutter placed fifth in the Pole Vault, with a 4.31 for the NCCAA Mark, and Landon Herbert hit the NCCAA Mark at 6.70 for seventh.
The Crossroads League Championship is next for the Pilots on May 1-2 at Indiana Wesleyan in Marion, Ind.
