UPLAND, Ind.--- The Men's Track and Field team tied the Mount Vernon Nazarene Cougars for sixth (33 points) after the final day of the Crossroads League Championship.
Lamarr Williams etched himself into the Crossroads League record book in the 60-meter after running a 6.83 (5th place finish) to be tied for seventh all-time in the event. Williams also tied for second in the 200-meter with a 22.29.
Brennen Bargesser placed seventh in the 200-meter with a 22.67, and Derek Vondrak placed seventh in the 60-hurdle final with an 8.72.
Christopher Kourthuis finished fourth in the Heptathlon, stretching through both days of the meet, with a third-place finish in the 60-meter (7.29), fifth in the long jump (5.78-meters), seventh in the Shot Put (8.15-meters), seventh in the high jump (1.63-meters), fourth in the 60-hurdles (9.28), fourth in the pole vault (3.90-meters), and fifth in the 1,000-meters (2:58.33) for 4141 points.
The Pilots prepare for the NAIA Indoor National Championship in Gainsville, Fla., at the Alachua County Sports and Events Center at Celebration Pointe Feb. 27 - Mar. 1.
