Zachary Maendel also recorded a season best time (28:13.6) and his fourth best career time.
Head Coach Ryan Sommers shared, "The guys persevered to accomplish most of the goals set for today with smart, strategic racing. Aaron's performance was one of the best in school history based on how he positioned himself to accomplish his goal and then persevered due to proper focus when it was evident the goal would not be reached. He raced, not just ran, the entire 8k. Also excited for what is to come as we head to NCCAA and NAIA nationals."
