Box Score GOSHEN, Ind. ---The Bethel Pilots (6-1, 1-1) defeated the Goshen College Maple Leafs (1-8, 0-2) 85-58 in the Ruth Gunden Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.
The 27 point differential was Bethel's best showing against Goshen since their matchup on Jan. 15, 2022 (113-75) when the Pilots won by 38 points.
Mariah Claywell posted her second double-double of the season, with 10 rebounds and 11 points scored.
Luvrain Gaskins hit a new career high for points scored (16), shooting 62.5% from the field (5-8).
Isabel Scales was the leading scorer with 17 points, shooting 77.8% from the field (7-9) and 75% from the charity stripe (3-4).

With the win, the Pilots now stand in a fourth place tie in the Crossroads League with the Spring Arbor University Cougars (6-1).
The Bethel Pilots will next face the IU Kokomo Cougars (3-2) in a road contest on Tuesday, Nov. 25. Tip-off is scheduled for 5 PM in the Cougar Gym.
