JOPLIN, Mo.--- The Bethel Men's Cross Country Team concluded their season with a top five finish at the 2025 NCCAA Division One National Championship.
Aaron Douglass led the Pilots in the 8k (25:54.9), placing 12th out of 82 runners.
Andrew Golba (26th, 27:21.8) and
Devyn Clements (36th, 28:08.4) also finished in the top 50% of the field.
Zachary Maendel placed 50th (29:10.1) and
Benjamin Keller hit a new personal record (29:17.2).
Completing the Bethel lineup were
Elijah Poorman (60th, 30:15. 8) and
Logan Mann (67th, 30:55.7).
Head Coach Ryan Sommers shared, "So thankful for this group of student athletes. The bonds they formed will last a lifetime. Solid race to end the season. They raced and battled as they have all season. Very proud of what they accomplished this year and how they've grown."
Bethel Athletics would like to congratulate these Pilots on a national top five finish, a feat not recorded since the 2023 season.
